Silly Site o' the Day

Well, that's a relief. The dental office called this morning asking if I could come in at noon instead of 3 PM, to which I readily agreed as it meant I could use up my lunch hour and wouldn't have to go out in the height of the horrid heat. Turns out the discomfort I've been feeling around my upper right wisdom tooth is just gum sensitivity, and I was told to rinse twice daily with warm salt water, so I guess I'm buying actual non-kosher salt this weekend. I left the office about an hour early, as I'd arrived early as well, with pretty much everything done, and thank goodness I don't have to go out anywhere again until the weekend's shopping. The All-Star game is kind of meh so far, as the media encroaches upon the game more and more with their intrusive microphones and cameras during actual play, but that does seem to be the way of things. Robin and I spent part of the evening looking through Amazon Prime Day deals and probably purchasing way too many things, but at least they're all practical. Maybe I'll get earrings tomorrow, which I need like two holes in the head. Or, you know, Croc nuts, which apparently everyone needs.
