Silly Site o' the Day

Wow, what a madhouse the supermarket was today! Not a surprise, considering it's probably closed tomorrow, but not a pleasant experience, particularly since most shoppers are now eschewing masks even in crowded indoor settings. Oh, and apparently some of the fridges in the vegetable area were on the fritz so employees were busy restocking the area in which we tend to shop the most. Still, we made it out with about 85% of the stuff on our shopping list, and can now rest and stay off the roads for the remainder of the weekend. I don't even plan on going outside tomorrow, so we took a walk around the block today to scope out the new Welcome to Riverdale mosaic-like sign by the express bus stop and grab a couple tamales from the Mexican-run bakery. Alas, the bakery doesn't have any wacky restaurant signs (via BoingBoing) outside... yet! Maybe there will be some up by the upcoming Riverdale Restaurant Week.
