Silly Site o' the Day

Such a horrid day for my hand, as I woke up in a fairly chilly apartment (as I type the heat is back on, thank goodness) which did my tendonitic hand no favors. It's finally easing a bit, but I've pretty much had the brace on all day. At least my laptop didn't crash, and I've been cleared for a new one. And I celebrated Riverdale Restaurant Week by perusing the services of our locally-famous baker, so there's now a couple sourdough loaves in the freezer and fridge. Tomorrow we meet up with my friend Rich from Queens at a steakhouse I've been curious to try, then we play the next couple days by ear. I hope I'm not still feeling ill. I also hope nobody makes me wear a turkey helmet cover; going without a mask is still a new enough thing for me.
