Silly Site o' the Day

We took off for the wilds of New Jersey today to accompany Mom to a medical appointment, and scheduled another trip for next Thursday when she has her follow-up. Always good to see Mom, although I could wish she were in less (or no) pain, but the rain made driving tricky, particularly when the temperature began to drop to more seasonable numbers. Still, we actually saw a rainbow over the NJ Turnpike on our drive back so that was neat. Now the temps are dipping below freezing (from a high of around 63!) so I'm glad we arrived back before the wind and cold kicked in for real. At this point I can't see going out tomorrow, I need a day to recover! Zed was, of course, demanding, although perhaps not as screechy as the cats on this calendar (via BoingBoing).
