What with the BBC coverage of the Queen's death and aftermath and the new King (who has that new king smell!) and his doings, we haven't really been paying attention to anything on "regular" television, so I was surprised to find the Emmy Awards were on tonight, because heaven forfend NBC forfeit football coverage to air the awards on a Sunday night like they're supposed to. Yet another reason to sour me on Universal/Peacock/whatever they designate themselves that's losing money hand over fist. And those hands were so full of ham tonight, so many SNL alumni doing bad comedy bits and others plugging shows nobody has any intention of watching because most of The Good Stuff (including most of what won awards) is on streaming services that aren't Peacock. It looks like no comic book-related series are winning anything, but maybe that's because this wasn't up for consideration:
