Silly Site o' the Day

On the heels of yesterday's outing, I schlepped my laptop into the city for the first time since March 2020 to participate in some virtual volunteering followed by the in-person variety, in celebration of KPMG's 125th anniversary "Community Impact Day." So much fun seeing so many coworkers, and I kept my mask on every time I couldn't be more than 6 feet away from them. Even got a photo with me and the two heads of our business unit, kept both the mask and hip pack on! I decided not to stick around, as I work better at home (my old workstation was usable except one monitor didn't work, but there was no desk fan and thus no air circulation which I always need) and the temperature soared above 90 degrees again, and I was back at the home office and online again by 1 PM. I fear I'll pay for this tomorrow, my right foot has already started throbbing a bit, but I'm glad I went in! I believe that's the first of these work meeting badges accomplished...
