Silly Site o' the Day

My first of nine no-work days, and after we came back from grocery shopping (we went super-early so as not to get caught in excessive heat or the showers that never materialized) I spent time nursing the left thumb, which has been healing up nicely (I can even put pressure on the area now, albeit wrapped with a plaster and coflex) and I'm able to use it at almost 95% or so. Like it still hurts a bit to copy and paste stuff like this silly site about parrots with human arms because I use my left thumb to press the Command key on the Mac (everything else on the keyboard I do with the other nine fingers) but I'm not yelping in pain any more. I wore a latex glove on the left hand while showering and it helped the bandaged bit stay on but didn't exactly keep it dry, which was fine as protection was the main goal. Better and better! Not planning on going out anywhere for the next few days.
