Silly Site o' the Day

The sciatica worsened overnight, so I did indeed have to wear a back brace today, but that helped the pain localize from the entire back to the area which needed the most work. So we got our shopping done, I discarded the brace and went for more ibuprofen and a heating pad, and the pain has begun to ease. With any luck I'll be able to handle three hours on a bus and at least one in a waiting room on Monday, all while masked. In the meantime we caught up on some streaming shows, and I finally got to the point where one show I've DVR'ed actually plays (I had to watch about four episodes on the streaming channel because they wouldn't play), so again, forward movement! In other news, it's Pride Month, so naturally all sorts of folk are trying to cash in by being all performative rather than actual allies.
