Silly Site o' the Day

Well, the day certainly didn't go as planned. I spent the first three hours with extreme vertigo, the worst I've ever had (I mean I was leaning on the cane just to walk properly through the apartment), and the last hour or so with two separate nosebleed incidents. No idea what caused them, but I'm willing to bet they're related and either the result of allergies or the cure therefor being worse than the disease. Just to be on the safe side I've decided I'm off the Flonase now, probably for good, in favor of allergy tablets. As it happens, the time between the vertigo and nosebleeds went pretty well. At lunchtime I took the car to get serviced, got my money order, took the bus back home then back down to the auto shop again around 5:30 when the car was ready, and I'm very happy they did their usual safety check and fluid top-ups for no extra charge and the thing is purring now. The head mechanic even told me he saw no problem with my 18-year-old baby passing inspection in August, so that made me happy too. If he'd had a funny tip jar sign as well I probably would have donated!
