Silly Site o' the Day

An exceedingly strange day, as Con Edison came by to replace a corroded gas pipe. At first we thought that meant the landlord turning off the boiler for most of the day, but as it turns out the part of the boiler that controls heat and hot water is a separate circuit, and the stove was the only thing affected. Oh, and my peace of mind as well, as they had to drill around where my car's usually parked and left this big square of tar by the bottom of our stairwell when they were done (supposedly they'll be back to cover it in concrete but I'm not holding my breath). Between the noise and my anxiety work was challenging, but I got through the day and am now trying to reestablish equilibrium. I don't feel particularly silly, for obvious reasons, but nonetheless I'm going to check in with Humans of Patriarchy today.
