Silly Site o' the Day

I arose to the very welcome news that the partners and managing directors I support all love me, I sailed through my interim review easily, and, when I later spoke with my supervisor, I was assured I'd be in line for a progression (since there's nowhere to actually promote an exec assistant), which I would have been last year except that supervisor was too busy with other matters and missed the deadline. Fortunately this boss won't, which is good news because I believe it means I land in a higher salary band. Bills all paid (the electric bill was mailed today after we took out all the trash) but it still helps knowing there's more to come. Maybe I'll make enough to afford a fake ornate London house someday:
