A long and tiring day, which began with very little sleep for either me or Robin, him walking me in the freezing cold to get an early bus into Manhattan, waiting while the dentist office tried to find my reg forms and old records (no on the first, yes on the second, apparently I'd been marked inactive as I hadn't come into that office during the pandemic), then a good cleaning and my new dentist fixing the issue with my crown (filing it down just a teensy bit which made all the difference in my bite), followed by a trip into my old office and a meet-up for coffee with a couple partners I support, and I was home by 12:30 and ready to dive into my workday... had it not been for constantly circling helicopters covering a nearby fire for at least a few hours. Sounds like that's finally over, and between the pre-dentist anxiety-insomnia and my whirlwind whatever, I'm plumb exhausted now. Nonetheless, I still had to clean out the medicinal shelf of the linen closet to find things like my unused mouthguards, so that's now done. So's the washing up. I'm guessing the release of all that tension somehow gave me doing-things energy. However, I assure you I did not tackle any of these DIY projects from hell.
