As the weather got a bit warmer and wetter, today was laundry day, and when I sorted the quarters I found I was finally able to complete my America the Beautiful national parks collection! So now onto the American Women quarters! I also had probably my last visit with my current diabetes doctor, who seems to exist to make me take quarterly blood tests that wind up costing me $300 a pop after insurance and pushing a nutritionist on me repeatedly after I've just as repeatedly told her I'm not interested. If the current variant continues to decrease and the numbers go in the right direction, I'll be seeking another doctor probably back at the center I used to go to in Manhattan, or just rely on my primary care doctor. At least it's out of the way for another three months now, and I can concentrate on watching the Olympics, which apparently have begun (curling, figure skating teams competition, moguls) even though the opening ceremony isn't until tomorrow morning (Friday evening in Beijing). I love learning stuff about other countries in between the "oo-ess-eh" rah-rah'ing propoagated upon American TV audiences.
