Silly Site o' the Day

Thank goodness Robin salted the steps and around the car, as it never warmed above freezing today. Still, we decided not to go grocery shopping until around noon, and layered carefully. I received another new company jacket, this one a windbreaker with a hood, and that made a nice layer over a company sweater. I have so much firm swag after only seven years there! It gave me enough incentive to clean out the shelf above the closet where we keep our outerwear, so all my summer hats and baseball caps (including at least a half dozen with the firm logo!) are now in order, all the gloves are paired up and most are in jacket pockets, the umbrellas and walking sticks have their own neat section, and Robin said goodbye to more than a few faded gloves, hats, and even a scarf or two. Now we have room for nose warmers! As if being masked doesn't take care of that. I continue to slowly shed poundage without trying (I suspect overall lack of stress and more sleep, despite the temporary insomnia, are at the root of that) and can now actually fit into the "jeggings" that I bought on a lark in The Before Times and which were way too small back then. Strange days indeed.
