One of my two remaining medical appointments was taken care of this morning, as I got a clean bill of health from my ophthalmologist. Looking forward to getting new glasses someday soon after this Omicron variant dies down. Until then, I have a dental appointment in Manhattan the first day of our winter shutdown, my quarterly fasting blood draw locally in late January, and (aside from grocery shopping and visiting Mom) no compelling reason to go anywhere or do anything for the rest of the winter. After all, I can watch holiday light shows right on my computer. Case in point:
