Another stay-at-home day but I managed the bike twice, so I'm hoping in a few days I'll be ready to increase from four miles to five, or perhaps even six (three AM and three PM). Meanwhile going outside in August seems less and less appealing considering the spread of the Delta variant and concurrent stupidity among those who see it as some sort of political statement to not be vaccinated and thus catch or spread disease. So much of a contrast between reality and what we're seeing on the Olympics or baseball games, with brief mentions of COVID but not enough to make people feel it's still very, very serious. Can't bring down folks watching beloved sports now, can we? It's getting so I'm preferring sports like this:
