At last, I feel like I'm transitioning to "field admin" status! I unpacked two of the four boxes of personal belongings from the office, including the box that had most of the foodstuffs. I'm told the sugar-free candy is a bit stale, but the agave nectar didn't even leak or spill! All my button-up blouses are now in the library closet, making space for me to hang up my pullover tops on hangers. But today's coming storm really knocked me out after that, although we both got fully dressed around 8:45 PM when a tornado warning appeared on my phone. I headed to the top of the hallway steps, the safest place on our floor, to chat for a bit with my downstairs neighbor who was set to shelter in the closet under those selfsame stairs, until the warning passed. No electricity lost, no massive tree limbs downed, but lots of leaves stripped from the trees. In any case, I feel very good about the forward movement and my healing knees and feet, and this coning week I'll make plans to see a new primary care doctor locally (and safely) as preparation for getting my medical plans in order for a post-COVID 2021. Speaking of which, I need to get rid of these memes by next February, don't I?
