Today was the best of all possible days to drive up to Macy Park for our annual photo taking. It didn't seem nearly as cold as the temperature indicated, I snapped to my heart's content, and I even took a walk around the block when we got back home to look at some of the local Hallowe'en decorations. Glad I had my stick with me, I didn't need it in the park but I was starting to fade with the local walk. Still, my knee held up fine in the brace and I wasn't in pain driving, so little by little I can see normal perambulation again. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Didn't see anyone in costume (didn't run into much of anyone in any case, fortunately), but I live in New York, so you never have to look far to find the outliers.
