Silly Site o' the Day

With the help of our downstairs neighbor, we did the first round of the yearly dance-with-the-landlord regarding heat, and for now it appears he's finally calibrated the boiler to a thermostat instead of the timer. She was pretty firm in reminding him that we're all working from home now and need heat during the day (and, like me, she will continue to work remotely even after the pandemic). So far so good, no space heaters needed today! The knee continues to improve, I'm pretty much sleeping without a brace now and just wearing it in the mornings or when I go out, icing the knee when it starts to throb a bit, and I've switched from Voltaren to emu oil which does seem to promote better healing. Of course, nothing heals better than laughter, so here's a collection of Hallowe'en costumes based on puns.
