Silly Site o' the Day

Forward movement at last, and I mean that quite literally. I braved the two flights of stairs down to the ground today to see if I could drive around locally to (a) mail out some bills (we spotted our mailman on the way so they went right into his gloved hands), (b) spot any decent local foliage (not yet), and (c) check out where our probable new primary care physician works to figure out how best to get to her (local bus). The knee twinged a bit during the drive but at least I know I can do it now! Alas, not up to cooking yet so we're "eating down" until we shop tomorrow morning, which - hooray! - I know we can do. Now if you'll excuse me I need to study some maps.
