Silly Site o' the Day

Today I was able to keep up with dish washing and even some cooking, and the brace is off temporarily post-shower but I'll probably wear it overnight after applying the voltaren (and taking more ibuprofen). I have most of my range of motion back, it just hurts when I lift the foot in a sitting position, as though I'm driving and have to switch between the brake and accelerator. So no driving until this is healed! In the meantime, I made my mushroom scallion stir-fry for dinner, which put me in mind of these shiitake-flavored candy canes...
