No local baseball tonight, so just chilling after a very busy workday that included helping out a coworker's partner while she took the day off to get work done on her home. Fortunately I made the right call; I can always tell I'm doing the right thing by the folks I support regularly but it's hit and miss with others. A long-awaited comics shipment mailed out close to a month ago finally found its way to my doorstep (a subsequent order had already arrived last week), so I'll have something to read this weekend. In the meantime we're "eating down" and I think we really need to go shopping tomorrow morning before it starts to broil. I think I need just about all these items that a clever baker has turned into cakes.
