I got very little sleep last night so, since it was a work day, I opted to push our major food shopping until Old Folks' Hour tomorrow. I'm just really down in general, there have been a few deaths in my extended family (relatives of in-laws and cousins and so forth), so this is definitely not one of my "up" days. Fortunately there may be good news care of Governor Cuomo's daily briefing today; NY might finally be plateauing! Even if that's not true, he definitely has a way of calming me down, if only for an hour a day. Randy Rainbow has noticed it as well:
