A lovely drive out to see Mom in the rehab place, shop a bit in the area during her PT, return for more conversation and then home. A lot easier than the usual 2-hour drive down to her house! As an added bonus I got to see my brother, who lives near the facility and has promised me some tomatoes when I return tomorrow morning. But I may skip the pizza place he recommended. The slices were tasty but I prefer my crusts thin. I also learned I don't have certain motor skills I used to, but I think I'm well ahead of some of these other folks who didn't learn basic skills earlier in life.
