Silly Site o' the Day

I'm taking it as easy as possible today, trying to monitor any side effects from the new diabetes med I've just started. So far naught but dizziness, and I think I can blame the tiredness on not really resting enough. I did cook some leftovers (mushroom and rice stir-fry) but mostly I read and watched the last day of regular season baseball (a bit of a bummer as both NY teams lost and the Yankees folks couldn't stop their hagiography over the idiot son of an asshole who lied us into war). It doesn't feel like autumn yet, which bums me out, and not just because there will be more people at the beach terrified of seagulls eating starfish. I miss having the windows open...
