Another stay-inside day due to the heat and fun sports to watch. The Mets have just snatched defeat from victory once again, whereas the Yanks did the opposite as expected in a rivalry where it's usually never the final score until the very end. We also watched the Spider-Verse movie this afternoon, fantastic animation and it was a lovely surprise hearing Lily Tomlin doing the voice of Aunt May! I've done quite a bit of comic book catch-up (finished the DCU and about two-thirds of the way through the Marvel haul) and even blog reading, which continues to depress me politically. At least there's this Marianne Williamson woo-woo person, rightly pilloried online at a time that calls for competence and seriousness.
