Out of work at 3 PM, I decided to get some exercise, walk across town, and get the "1" train home, or at least to the subway station where I could catch a local bus home. Probably arrived sooner than I would have on the express bus, given Friday PM traffic in the summer months. I'll miss being able to do this when things get warmer and more humid. There are warning signs already; witness all the melting cats!
