The auto shop was done with my safety check and oil change by 9 AM, so I got impulsive. Right after my podiatrist appointment (medi-pedis feel so good, and my diabetic feet continue to be fine) Robin and I took off for points south, as we hadn't been able to visit Mom for Mother's Day and we're unlikely to want to venture to shore points on Memorial Day weekend. It all worked out great, except that I'm pretty knackered now. But that's fine, tomorrow I can rest and not have to worry about car stuff or prescriptions or family obligations or workload or anything more strenuous than catching up on my DVR'ed shows and perhaps watching some amusing videos:
