Ugh, will this meddlesome lurgy ever leave? And it's back to work (then another medical appointment, then a 1-hour ride on the Dreaded Local Bus) tomorrow. So let's celebrate with some re-creations of famous artworks.

So... there's a woman at work and she was out. She came back in the other day and she was telling me how she felt at times like she couldn't breath. I mean she was literally gasping for air. She got it. Her boyfriend got it. Even her mom who was visiting and took a side trip down to Florida got it (and wound up in the hospital as a result). She went for tests and the doctor told her he could find nothing wrong. She took Mucinex and nothing was coming up. While it's not clear at one point she either got bumped or slapped in the back really hard and apparently from the way she described it, it was as if it knocked something loose in her lungs and a ton of "stuff" came up that wasn't able to come up before.
I know I got a flu shot a few weeks back and there was a cold going around the office. To the point where people were complaining about ear infections and the like. What was weird was feeling really lousy and taking a day off and just feeling run down for the most part and then one day sneezing and a whole host of stuff coming up.
Upshot being there is something nasty going around. Just try to hang in there, not tax yourself. Maybe hang over a pot of boiling water to get some steam in and clear things out. I have become a big fan of the simply saline thing and flushing out the sinuses even though it is probably one of the grossest things a person can do.
In any event I hope you and Robin both are on the mend and thank you so very much for being so thoughtful as to send a card.
