The power went out about 15 minutes ago, and just came back on. Boy, did we luck out. But we had the chance to test out our battery-powered room fan (which works) and thanks to our neighbor's forewarning (as the power went out elsewhere in the neighborhood earlier this evening) I was able to shower and get other things done before the blackout blip. And now I can watch the NY baseball teams again. Oh, speaking of energy, I will never, ever have enough to be a part of this absolutely amazing human zoetrope:
