My feet and knees behaved enough for me to make the trek down to Mom's and back (give or take having to wear a plantar brace on my driving foot on the way home which impacted my right knee going up the stairs to our apartment), and we had a lovely time. One of the best parts of seeing Mom is not having to get on an airplane to do so, because strange things happen in airports.
