The good news is, my car passed inspection and is good to go for another year, including upcoming "long" trips to NJ and PA. The bad news is, it couldn't pass without new front and rear brakes. More good news is that we now have enough to make dinners for at least the next week, the bad news there being that we went to Stew Leonard's which has the effect of completely obliterating any impulse control I ordinarily have at a supermarket. Lastly, the bad news is that my middle right toe to which my podiatrist had administered has gotten worse, so much so that I was limping through Stew's. The good news is that I figured out why; I put Savlon on it last night instead of iodine, and whilst the red stuff dries it out not so much with the white cream. So I've iodined it and bandaged it up once again and hope I'm back on the road to recovery. The universe gives and the universe takes away. Let's learn some True Facts about the cuttlefish, shall we?
