Awful night last night, trying to sleep while it felt like someone was jabbing a needle into my left big toe every few seconds. Today the pain has migrated to the arch, and swung around to the outside of the foot, which I actually consider a good thing. Here's hoping that wearing the plantar brace and some snug socks does the trick tonight (along with more ibuprofen, from which I have admirably refrained during the daytime hours).
