We braved the cold this morning to buy way, way too much cheese for the annual Twelfth Night party thrown by Keith RA DeCandido and Wrenn Simms, who live about a mile south of us. The party is doubtless still going on as I type, but it turns out that, at age 57, three hours is about my party-crowd limit. Still, it's always great to meet all of Keith and Wrenn's creative friends. In honor of today's hosts, here are some opening sentences of classic novels, diagrammed (via io9). I want to see Wrenn do this with one of Keith's books. :)
