Just got back from a lovely evening in the city celebrating the life of our late friend Marc Wilkofsky with many folks who knew and loved him. Had a bit of a close call on a subway platform with some strange guy (and boy was he strange) striking up a convo with me - same thing happened when I sat at the bus shelter on the way home - which brought to mind people's reactions to catcalls and particularly the wonderful Twitter hashtag "dudesgreetingdudes" (via Melissa). Seriously, most of these guys would never suddenly chat up a random stranger if that stranger were a guy.
