And another tire on my car mysteriously flattens. Fortunately we were literally across the street from an auto shop when it happened. Had to stand out in the sun for around 15-20 minutes before the very competent mechanic could affix a new one, and I'm still feeling the effects of the sun. For someone with such a swarthy background, I'm pretty darn susceptible to sunshine. Didn't even think to use the sunscreen in the car. Or, you know, sit in it until the mechanic was ready. But all's well now. Except I really could use some watermelon...sculptures. Via Laughing Squid.

as far as i'm concerned, all so-called water melons were always meant as art, and not as food.
