Greetings from Merrie Olde! We arrived around 9:30 AM, on a flight on which I didn't really get any sleep. The walk around Heathrow was so extensive and maddening that I was beyond exhausted by the time we arrived at the rental car place, at long last. That was at least another half hour, then we had to stop along the way for drinks and to adjust my seat and such... by the time we got to Dad's it was almost 2 PM. I was fast asleep by 3, woke up around 8 and have just had dinner/breakfast. Because it's vacation, and we're going to eat.
