Nothing silly about this coming storm, I'm afraid. A few Grease-related parodies with the name "Sandy" over and over, some stupid self-made songs, eh. Battening down the hatches now, hoping to see you again before Hallowe'en, power permitting. At this point the loss of power in our area - okay, in the entire NY metro area - seems "likely" according to most forecasts. I'll try to blog again early tomorrow, but if you don't hear from me don't be surprised. Preparing to stay home from work (no choice, they've just closed the subway and bus system) and either play on the computer if there's power or catch up on my comic book reading by flashlight and candlelight if there's not. Stay safe out there, everyone! Do some reading of your own, like these fairy tales rewritten for today's short-attention-span 20-somethings (via io9). See you on the flip side!
