Silly Site o' the Day

Looking at this Gawker collection of students' (and teachers'!) reactions to Wikipedia going dark the other day (via Arthur), I wonder if it's for real and people who rely on the 'pedia for their homework assignments and essays are really as stupid as you'd expect the 'pedia-reliant to be, or if it isn't a hoax. Rob's money is on the latter, but you know, nobody ever went broke underestimating, etc. etc. (look it up)...
