Happy Buy Nothing Day, Black Friday, or Leftover Day, whichever you prefer. I've just finished doing a couple leftover posts at ComicMix that I've been wanting to write up for awhile, so now it's time for a quick blog read before going back for more CM stuff and maybe doing a bit of online job searching, depending on how tired I am. I'm glad it's an "inside day" for us! At least the sun's out again. Of course, it being Buy Nothing Day I'm not going to get any of this today, but continuing on our series of weird holiday-season gifties, how about some Turducken for Cats (via Robyn Lee at Serious Eats)? And I just saw a cool bit on Euronews about an exhibition at a French museum on religious symbolism used to sell Savon soap that I thought was pretty interesting. This stuff isn't new by any means, folks.
