When even President Kookoobananas pays lip service to global climate change (and despite Jon Stewart I don't think that's a weasel phrase, it encompasses much more than "warming" as it addresses weather extremes of all kinds, like arctic cold where it's never been felt before and vicious storms of increasing magnitude) then there's a chance it's starting to sink in.
