Silly Site o' the Day

You know, it's kind of pathetic when one is watching the Daily Show and they're mocking the disproportionate attention CNN paid to A-list bloggers on Tuesday night and one sits there going, "Look, that's Pam, and Christie from FDL, and Jeralyn, and Atrios!" Especially when one has never met the bloggers in question. And when one basically agrees with Jon Stewart's premise. Someday other liberal bloggers will have to tell me how they keep their arms limber enough to continuously pat themselves on the back like many (not necessarily the bloggers named above) have been doing these last couple days. Then I'll tell them how jealousy tastes. (Bitter.) It's always dangerous, and a little bit sad, when people start falling for their own publicity and losing sight of the bigger picture. For those folks for whom "excuse me, the liberal blogosphere's Great White Hope Ned Lamont lost, so just maybe this Democratic victory doesn't have as much to do with 'us' as you're trumpeting," might I instead offer a glass of dehydrated water?
