For The Birds
I'm a very, very amateur bird-watcher, in that I can't tell a sparrow from a starling but I love snapping photos of them when I can. I saw a few beautiful ones whilst walking down to Broadway this morning but didn't have my camera. Of course, in England I had one:

Swans in Bristol.

More swans along the either Severn estuary or the River Avon, I'm not too sure which.

A magpie on the tracks around Reading.

The same magpie, a little closer.

Not sure what this tiny bird is (as with all these pictures, you can see it better by clicking on the photo), but it's taking a drink in a rain puddle on the banks of the River Ouse.

We have a few crows by us, but not as many as in Lewes. Here's one atop the trees guarding its nest.

And here's one walking the platform at the Lewes train station. Certainly more attractive than the pigeons we get in the NYC subways!
