Gravatar's login is down for maintenance so I can't check on why my picture-avatar isn't showing up in comments sections. I got a maintenance message from Blogger this morning when I tried to post from home (using IE, if anyone's interested, so it's not a Firefox-only problem). Seems like I'm the only one not needing maintenance at the moment. This could, of course, change at any time. At sundown tonight, Year 5766 on the Jewish calendar begins. I always liked the idea of a new year starting in the autumn, it seemed more fitting than the midwinter beginning.
