Hey, here's something fun to play with that Amanda mentioned - a Regender program that takes the website of your choice and switches the gendered words (including names) from male to female and veesy-versy. I chuckled a little at what it did to my blogroll, but otherwise I found it didn't touch a lot of the names that it didn't recognize (for instance, Hanan remained Hanan, which is only fitting as I thought he was female for the longest time), so Pen-Elayne actually wound up fairly gender-balanced, even gender-neutral.
