In many civilized countries, forced sleep deprivation is a form of torture. In the UK it's a reality show.

But what do I know, I get invitations to outdoor "birthday" parties in frigid weather to celebrate/protest the continued disrepair of a local retaining wall, so perhaps I'm not best qualified to judge.
