What a perfect day. Robin just keeps me hanging on. I confess I did log onto my work computer briefly to clear out emails, but by 11 AM we were on the road to shop for sneakers at a speciality store that deals with issues like mine (the chafing on the side of the big toe that just doesn't seem to heal), which of course is about a 5-minute drive from our favorite sushi place. I mean, it's International Sushi Day, we couldn't not celebrate, right? Both stops yielded promise, with me purchasing two pairs of sneakers that should help and us having a tasty repast and getting more coupons for our next visit. And we got in afternoon naps and other relaxation, gearing up for tomorrow's holiday and the coming heat wave. All good!
