The Heat is On!

The landlord didn't arrive until the afternoon but the heat is finally on again, Rob's bled the bathroom radiator a few times so that's gotten warm too, and with any luck we won't need the space heaters so much any more. This morning we visited my uncle who is in a rehab facility a 5-minute drive away down by the river, and honestly if I could afford it I would look into retiring to one of their senior living areas, as part of me would dearly like to remain in this neighborhood post-retirement. We caught up on some streaming shows and watched a pretty darn good football game (the Jets) and a pretty bad one (Liverpool losing again), and I enjoyed my last bits of chocolate and red drinks and the like before going on tomorrow's low-res diet...
