The Floater

I don't know whether it has anything to do with the illness, which is almost behind me now, but I've had this awful floater in my left eye for some time now and is seems to have just gotten worse. I keep thinking there's something moving out of the corner of my eye, and it's always the floater. I can pretty much see okay, and I got all my errands done today, although Robin's in full-blown sick mode so I had to shop alone. OMG that was an adventure, particularly the three-step process of unloading the cart onto the check-out counter, then into the shopping bags, then into the car, after which I was positively pouring with sweat. Robin helped carry it all up, which did him in for a few hours, but we spent the afternoon somnambulent (he slept, as he hadn't been able to last night, and I vegged out watching my preferred footie and baseball teams lose) and we have no plans for tomorrow so maybe we can lick this thing. I'd really like this floater to go away already...
