Almost Human

The basement neighbor conversation lasted until 3 AM, so I got very little sleep even with earplugs in. I've been walking around very zombie-like today, and had intended on taking some PTO hours, but there was just too much to do. Maybe I'll go home early tomorrow. The iPhone kept heating up and the music app crashing as I populated my playlist, but everything I can imagine wanting to listen to is finally in there. Oh, and I didn't even mention the regular baseball season is over, with the Yankees going through (as expected) and the Mets not (also as expected), and Liverpool lost its first game of the 2025-26 season but they're still in first place in the Premier League. Tonight is just American football or sleep, and I'm kind of teetering between them both. I'll probably put on the football game as that makes me fall asleep.
